I have a Diploma in Counselling and I am also a qualified NLP Practioner and Eriksonian Hypnosis practioner.
I trained at Wealden Institute and hold a Diploma in Supervision which allows me to supervise other counsellors. I am also in supervision myself as required by my insurance and governing authority.
I have worked for a nursing agency both within East Sussex and London and I have a vast range of experience working with different types of people, mental health problems and life issues.
Bereavement and alcohol issues are an area of speciality for me because of my experience in the charitys I have worked with. I also have an interest in helping people explore relationships, patterns of behaviour, addiction and career options.
I am an Integrative counsellor which means that I use different skills and theory from different forms of counselling schools. In practising this way I am able to use the most suitable counselling tools for each client. I do not believe that one form of counselling theory can be suitable for every client - we are all different and respond in our own ways.
